» so yeah...

What's so good about this game again?

by p0op - 2009-09-10 19:25
» .

It's like a playable movie, where your timing and choices affect the outcome. Your main character can die and the game will continue on. Etc.

It's something new in a world filled with Halo 3 clones.

It lives up to its predecessor fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. I freaking loved that game XD.

» somewhat

my kind of game.

ill be saving money so i can buy this.

hope alan wake also comes out for the pc so i dont need to buy an xbox 360.

Heavy Rain and Alan Wake are 2 of my most anticipated games. which are taking forever to develop.

» Sega CD games? lol

The images are rendered in real time with characters you control. It's not a like Sega CD. Although at the time, Sega CD was the bomb! Yeah I owned one. There were some decent games although by today's standards, they're laughable.

» nonsense!

Whether or not it meets your expectations it is STILL one of the best graphic games out there, especially in the realism department.

» Hm

Before when I'd see "HD anything" I'd be sad because I didn't have an HDTV yet to see what all the hoopla was about firsthand. Then two days ago I was finally able to get my very own. I'll finally be able to see all the pretty games and how nice they look, but even with that in mind I don't think I'll pick up this game.

It seems like a victim of its own hype. It may look gorgeous but from what I've seen it doesn't look very entertaining to play. Even MGS (which I still love to death) had fun action and stealth to go along with its engaging narrative. Heavy Rain seems like it'll be one interactive cut scene after another, beautiful it may be but that wont move units. Its hype will but if the game isn't up to snuff the reviews will truncate it.

» hmmm...

is this game going to be in 1080P of 720P

by cloudhaacker - 2009-09-11 02:25
» as nice as these look

The attention to detail and mapping in this game looks great-if sega or whoever owns Shenmue was going to finish it and make the 3rd game, these guys would do a great job I think. I also still think that an RPG game made from the movie Labyrinth would be awsome. I was going to write that idea in to a magazine once, and when I was ready to someone else had wrote it in already-so at least I'm not the only one!

by cloudhaacker - 2009-09-11 02:54
» ohhh

There was a video game based on labyrinth-on the commadore 64-but it still could make a sweet new game with today's graphics
