3D Realms has been working on Duke Nukem Forever for eleven years. Eleven years people, and what do we have to show for it? Screenshots and some really short teaser videos. Speaking of screenshots, here are a couple of new ones:

The screenshots above are found bundled with the recently-released XBLA title, Duke Nukem 3D. Players can gain access to them in the art gallery after earning all of the game's achievements.

It's good to know that 3D Realms still hasn't forgotten this game, but frankly speaking? This is getting a bit ridiculous. All I'm saying is, much as I love the Duke, if and when this game comes out it better be worth all those years of waiting. No shades of Daikatana please, thank you very much.

» So?

Who cares? Duke Nukem isn't even fun anymore. It's a game that really shows it's age. Those screens for the new Duke Nukem which will never come out look like garbage though and even then it's on PC only so this has nothing to do with the PS3.

and I could not feed my need for more FFxi time-sinking, I played my Nukem... oh I how I loved it.

Think I haven't played Duke3D for more than a decade; yet, sense memory kikt in, and I was locating all the old secrets... felt like finding that old sweater that looks a bit rough round the edges but feels sooooooo nice....
