New details on Killzone PS3 |

New details regarding Killzone PS3have been revealed by game developers from Guerrilla Games. They announced some of the features they have added to Killzone PS3 which should differentiate itself from other FPS.The developers mentioned that it was easier to develop the game on the PS3 since they had more computing power to play with unlike the limited power the PS2 provided. They went so far as to say that if theycould imagine it, they could implement it. So what have the developers been imagining and implementing?
One of the new features they added involves the improvement of the physics engine. No longer will a tank be stopped by a wooden fence, it would simply keep rolling on. In addition to this, lighting and shadowing have been improved to cinema-like quality, making the game prettier than its previous incarnations. Finally, they have also announced that practically the entire world would be destructible. No specifics on this have been given, but we hope that walls can be leveled by using a tank.
Killzone PS3 is slated to be released in Europe on July 13, while the US release date has yet to be announced. If you've been patiently waiting for the the game, it may be good for you to know that new info about Killzone PS3 will be shown in the next issue of PSM.

Honestly, if everybody was to think bad of Gears before it came out, then would it have been what it is now?
And I'll agree. Halo and killzone can't stand with the Half-Life.

But this can be a reboot.
Is a 20 million project.

It was very evident on Multiplayer maps where you couldn't blow through a wall thats very very thick to another room in order to make a new path, but you could blow up certain walks all the way through.
For a game to be classified as fully destructible, then I would expect to be able to throw a few HE bombs and blow a hole or some kind of cover to use.
Or artillery craters can be used for some light cover.

what load of poos
If its not going to look like the e3/ 05 /video ,Then dont waste my time putting it out .
you will be lucky if the game rates more than a 7.5 or 8.0

back in killzone one the team was 40 members, and it was third party with limited budget and no access to Sony,s internal libraries
today many of the previous team left and the number of staff jumped to 120 when it was aquired by Sony
linking Killzone 2 to Killzone 1 is wrong...it was 3rd party back then with a smaller team and different members, things are different now
and if there is anything that Little big planet taught us,it is that when Sony takes a studio, they start doing miracles [media molecule:- from ragdoll kung fu to Little big planet]
will have to wait until the scans and e3 to give a better judgement

But on Killzone 2 to Halo 3, personally I don't think that Killzone 2 will be able to compare with Halo 3. Even though Halo 3 is a ordinary FPS with no major merits to it, it does have HUMONGOUS hype backing it up guaranteeing major sales and near guaranteed high ratings (look at Halo 2 and it's ratings. And the single player sucked!). How ever, Killzone 2 doesn't look to be a ground breaking FPS either and will most likely play like a ordinary FPS unless it's online mode can save it (like how Halo 2 is only good for online). I bet that Halo 3 will have WAY greater sales, but Killzone 2 will have better gameplay, physics, and MAYBE graphics.
To xbots that might argue about me saying KillZone 2 will have better physics: it's because the Cell can handle much better physics, AI, etc.

Anyone who is a console first person shooter fan should be excited about both of these games. There is no question that Halo 3 will be amazing. The first two games prove that Bungie knows what it is doing, and there is no reason to believe that with as much riding on this game as there is, that they would let us down. Anyone with a brain and a trigger finger should "Finish the Fight."
As far as Killzone goes, I think everyone is too hard on the first one. It was a great game for it's time, and looked very good on the PS2.
Sony is putting alot of money into #2, and that usually results in a good product. The PS3 is a powerful chunk of hardware, and I am sure they will use it to the best of their ability. I think that they have alot to prove with this one, and I am hoping for the best. Why not? Why take sides?
Don't be negative just because you can't afford both consoles.
There is really something for to look forward to for FPS fans on both the 360 and the PS3, and if you have both, your in heaven!
