Batllefield: Bad Company is the latest from Sweden-based Digital Illusions. Built from the ground up for next gen consoles using Digital Illusions' own Frostbite game engine, Battlefield: Bad Company features a deep single-player experience that puts gamers behind enemy lines -- which, thanks to a world that's about 90% destructible -- is ever-changing. Those who prefer to mix it up with other gamers through multiplayer will also find a full suite of the franchise's trademark multiplayer options.

Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions' Battlefield: Bad Company is slated is slated for release on both the Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.

» wow

wow! This is actually the first Battlefield game Im looking forward to in years!

These shots are extremely impressive and the destructibility of the environments are extremely impressive as well.

Dont worry Mic2000, Im sure a version of it will hit the PC at some point

» Dont bet on it

They said this version is for the consoles ONLY! PC gamers already got Battlefield 2142.

» cant wait

» The only thing that is exclusive is the name

They can easily say battlefield: Bad Company is console only. Then 6 months later they will come out with the same game on pc and call it Battlefield: Enemy territory. Its not going against what they said and its been done plenty of times before that.

Plus Battlefield 2142 was crap. It was an enhanced version of Battlefield 2 nothing more.

So Im sure a version of this game will be available for PCs. Just not for a couple months and expect a name change.

And why do you care? either way, console gamers get it first.

» KBINFPSNOW!!

yeah.. not going to buy if it dosn't support mouse/kb.

» I disagree

I have played both for many years and was definitely pro mouse/kb, but with games like Halo and BF:MC on the xbox, i have become very comfortable with the controller.. I think it would be a nice feature, but I don't see it happening.

» Two words:

HOLY. SH*T.

Actually, more words. Yeah, I would have to agree that kb/m really shouldn't be on consoles, they're just meant to be played with controllers and that should be that.

And in my experience, most of the people who say controllers suck, suck with the controller. So all you PC bi*ches whining about kb/m, just suck it up and get good with the controller, it really isn't very hard. I used to be a die hard PC gamer and was actually very good at games like Unreal and Quake, but then I got into (and got good at) Halo, and I don't want to go back.

» Controllers are sweet

Yeah, controllers are fine. Dont knock em unless you have tried them. Plus you can put your feet up as well.

Never heard of a mouse and keyboard putting their feet up, LOL

» in regards to kb/m vs controller

im fairly use to kb/m but since buying a ps3 have had to adjust to using the toggle to move and view ie - Resistance: Fall of Man . now i found extremely hard to line my crosshair on the target, it was almost impossible, i adjusted sensitivity etc didnt make a difference. ive tried to get use to it but it just sux its not comfortable at all just moves all over the place.

i really hope bad company works a bit better than fall of man.
