Need for Speed ProStreet's cars screenshots, drool inducing |
Ó
We're sure you guys have seen the screenshots and trailers for Electronic Arts' upcoming racing video game, Need for Speed ProStreet. Today, we've got some screenshots from the next gen versions of the game (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) and they feature six of the cars we'll be able to drive in the game.
In case you've been living under a rock, Need for Speed ProStreet is the latest title in EA's racing series. It promises to deviate from the series' original focus, arcade racing, and move closer to the racing sim gameplay. In the screenshots, we get to drool at the photorealistic graphics and the cars themselves. Here's the lineup: 1999 Nissan Skyline R34, 2006 Lexus IS350, 1989 Nissan 240 SX (S13), 2006 Acura RSX, 2006 Porsche 911 (997 Gen) Turbo, and 2006 Lotus Elise. What can we say? They're beautiful.
Anyway (before this writer drools all over her desk), we'll leave you to check the screenshots for yourselves. Need for Speed ProStreet is still scheduled to drift on the shelves this fall so you better watch out.

drool on me :D
the graphics are good, but not 'photorealistic', if you want a racing with nice looking smoke which you will only see for 2 seconds at the start of each race, get this game. Its just another EA game with slight updates over the last game, if you want to pay the for game to get more smoke, good for u!
Gran turismo 5 is going to have the good graphics and a little thing called realism. Sorry, but getting around a corner by using the handbrake AFTER an apex isnt my idea of real.
Whether or not its realistic, you gotta love those reflections in the paint. If these screenshots are consistent with how the game looks in motion, then thats pretty nice.
these pics are from the xbox 360 version...
Realism eh, i dont call heading into a gentle s bend at 50, in a skyline. and then coming off realistic bud. Games like GT and PGR have gone too far with the whole realism thing. Way. To. Far
I don't like this edition anymore, i thought that i was so cool like Carbon and Underground 2 (play in the night), but this isn't so, no Pro Street but for me!
... That it was so cool ..., ... No Pro Street BUY for me ...
they must not have paid too much attention to detail. if thats an 89 240sx its got the wrong front bumper. that bumpers from a 91-93
