If you ask us, you shouldn't be buying NBA Street Homecourt if all you want to do is play some old school basketball. Just grabbed any other basketball title out there and don't ruin the spirit of the title. Because, you see, Homecourt is not just about basketball. It's street basketball and as such, is more about attitude and funk.

Now, the first and very obvious way to bear this attitude we are talking about is in the dunks you will be able to master in the game. To help you out, here is the game's flight school video. It is actually a tutorial on how you will be able to perform various tricks in midair. To help you get started, the key lies in the controller's 'B' button. Here are some tips:
  • Tap B and release early for your typical reverse jam.
  • You want hang time, tap B and release a little later.
  • Press and hold B until the last possible second and your baller will perform a double dunk.
  • Hold the B button too long, however, and you're in for some pain
  • The longer you hold B, the more vulnerable your player is to blocks and collisions.
The rest of the tips, as well as step-by-step demonstrations, can be found in the video. NBA Street Homecourt is available both for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
