Racing enthusiasts huddle over! The first official trailer for Electronic Arts' NASCAR 08 has gone live.

We're sure a lot of people are curious as to how this video game is shaping up visually and gameplay-wise. It's just you, the oval track, and a couple of dozen other cars who want that shiny trophy. In the trailer, we see some game features like the cars, car tuning, and telemetry (for a more technical run). Of course, it wouldn't be NASCAR without the car crashes and the cars banging on the walls of the track.

Anyway, we'll quit the babble and let you watch. Excuse the blurry YouTube video though, but we're sure you pretty much get the picture on gameplay. Stay tuned for more info on NASCAR 08 (Xbox 360, PS2, and PlayStation 3).

terrrrible song for destructive racing (metal neone?) but the game looks pretty slick. NASCAR is boringish, but man..those crashes look great...and did you see that dynamic smoke cloud taht got blown w/ the cars?
