Dragon Ball Z, fans, rejoice! It seems that Namco Bandai -in its latest take on the legendary series, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit (Xbox 360, PS3) - is going to do things a little bit differently. This is due to the fact that the series in itself will have, besides some very cool-looking cel-shaded graphics, new content that presents the story's canon material in a new light. This new content is called the "What If..." events, and just like what they're termed, they'll be about the events that could have been.

We find this out in a recent interview with the game's co-producer, Yasu Nishimura. In the interview, we find out about the What If Drama Pieces, and how they play an important role in the game. Drama Pieces are pretty much non-interactive cutscenes from the story that's re-made in an entirely different way - which is already awesome in itself, considering that pretty much everyone who's going into the game will have already known how things go.

It's just a shame that they're not interactive in any way, as it would certainly be nice to actually play a cutscene rather than just watch it. In any case, updates as we get them, and you can check out the full interview in the via link below.

i was thinking that they were going to have options during each cutscene and it alters the outcome of the game. Like you have to choose to save one of two people or save this town or that town. It would be cool if it had a few dozen different endings.
