Namco Bandai confirms Tekken 5: DR Online; screenshots and info abound

Namco Bandai's Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online is probably one of the most anticipated games confirmed to hit the PlayStation Network, and with good and sound reasons we should say. So far, Tekken 5: DR Online has been announced to include the following features:

New online versus modes
Practice and Survival for single-player modes
A new online leaderboard
Gallery mode
In-match spectating
Online ranking and battle lobbies

In the Survival and Practice modes, players will get the chance to hone and master their moves before they go out and challenge other players online. For online ranking and lobbies, players can choose from Quick, Opti, Custom, and Friend Matches to invite opponents to play online.

All online modes will support voice chat, even while waiting in the lobby. GamePro reports that players can even spy on matches and players to see what moves their future opponents may have.

I own Tekken 5 for PS2 and also downloaded Tekken 5 for PS3 and now there is another version coming out thats even better. This sucks because I would like to get that version but I feel like that they should let people who have already bought this download the new one for free. This sorta fills like a ripoff!

you get what you pay... the online feature is an special add on like every game that sell their add ons in the store... but yours 20 for the regular game plus 8 for not only the online... is very cheap and more for any tekken fan... the best fighting genre at the better price... and that makes that tekken 6 will be online...

we are most likley gona get tekken 6 online play to

the company had stated before tekken was not good for online becuas ethe game needs persice measerment and poloygon issues and all that crap and the game wouldn't be able to play right because of internet lag

but if they've been able to make it play online with tekken 5 then with tekken 6 its be a no brainer
