When you're pitted against the power of nature, there really isn't much you can do. You can try to defy and overcome it, and, well, we'll just be wishing you good luck and that you come out of the challenge alive.
Unfortunately, nature isn't the only one pushing you to death's door in MotorStorm. Racing against both motorbikes and monster trucks right in a canyon's cliff, your adrenaline is set to be pushed to the max, although it will really get you to thinking silently, "Thank God this is just a game."
Yep, there sure is a lot of dust, a lot of explosions, and a lot of action. However, they seem to be running low on life insurance. 'Cause if you miss that right turn, you just might find yourself flying off to the sky- and then crashing down. Yeah, if you're the type to want to try out extreme sports but don't really have the balls to actually do it, just get this game and try to farm a couple of 'em while playing first. Maybe then you'd get to do it in real life. Or then again, maybe you'd just want to stick it out with the videogame.

All looks fantastics... excluding only one thing - something wrong with the physics of motorbikes
about 1 year ago it looked really nice!
now it looks like just another PC game.

You can see the textures getting much more blurry in some meters distance!
The textures are more blurry then in 2005 even in short range!
And now it even gets worse in some distance!

I wouldn't say it looked better a year ago, because for quite some time, all we got were replay shots with too much motion blur.
I agree it does look a bit like a PC game however. It's suppose to be a sunny day but has that rather flat indoor lighting look of many games we see (if you understand what I mean).
Just the same, I still say what I've always said about this game - It doesn't match the E3 2005 trailer, and the graphics are not the best seen on the PS3 (still excellent though imo), but it does look like being great FUN to play, especially online, and that's all that matters in the end. :)

I'll tell you the game looks AMAZING! I been playing it @ my local Walmart and Target (still can't find one for myself), and I changed my mind about this game. Glad the demo is a free download..I'll be practicing :)
This game is awful, the physics are all wrong. I thought the PS3 was boasting about how the Cell would have the best physics on all its games or some crap, another false promise from Phony. :(
Wow... LOOKS LIKE CRAP!!! This footage is nowhere near all the screenshots and CGI video they released for this game during the previews. I am glad I didn't spend $600 on a PS3. I knew they were lying about badass graphics....
The textures are very well done, the physics are great, and the graphics are phenomenal. 360 has yet to show us a racing game that stands up to Motorstorm, and the development team still has 3~4 months left.
What are all you doubters talking about? I for one have not seen anything amazing on the PS3, till Motorstorm. In my opinion this is the best looking game on the PS3 so far. Idiots.
It is the best racing game ever. I have the PS3 and downloaded the demo. I play it everyday. Try playing it with the sixaxis, its very weird.
i have this demo on my ps3.... and its fricken amazing... its probably my favorite game so far on the ps3.... even though its a demo... it looks amazing in standard definition.... i don't like the dirt bike so much... but the trucks... kick so much butt.... and i am not a fanboy of the ps3... i am a fanboy of all systems.... and i sersiously give this game like 5 thumbs up.... and its still an early build and a demo.... i can't wait for its release....
This game looks very sub par. And its not even close to any of the previous footage. I thought Sony may have changed, but i was wrong. Still over hyping, and under delivering. Hopefully Sony still has some sheep to buy this rubbish.
