MyBuzz goes live in US, prizes for quiz library contest

MyBUZZ! - Image 1 Okay, it won't be another couple of weeks till the PlayStation 3 BUZZ! Quiz TV hits the US, but you can settle with MyBUZZ! for now. Yep, it's already up and running, this according to Associate Producer Jenny Barbour, who took to the PlayStation US blog to give us the heads up on it.

MyBuzz is actually a website that allows you to create your own personalized quizzes for BUZZ! Quiz TV. And as quizzes are meant to be played, you'll also get to play them either online or in-game.

Here are the features for the quiz game:
  • Quizzes consist of eight questions you created, including right and wrong answers
  • Quizzes can be linked in a playlist to create a never-ending challenge on a particular topic
  • You can choose to keep your quizzes private, share them with your friends, or open them up for all to enjoy
Other features of MyBUZZ include the following:
  • ability to rate quizzes
  • leave comments for the author
  • search quizzes by rating, date or subject
  • add quizzes to your favorites list
  • various modes (Top Quizzes as listed by Most Popular and Most Recent; Top Author as listed by This Week and All Time)
What's more, if you start building your library of quizzes now, you just might get the chance to win a PS3 and BUZZ! Quiz TV game bundle if you win the "All Time Top Author" award. The winner will be announced on September 23. And then (yes, there's more) on September 30, yet another lucky individual will win the "Top Quiz" award and receive a new PSP 3000 with BUZZ! Master Quiz.

So start working on those quiz libraries and good luck! You can check out the site on MyBUZZquiz.com using your PSN ID. When the game launches on September 23, your quizzes will be made available for play.
