Multi-platform imitation: Amycall's PS3 mobile phone |
Ó
Words fail us on this remarkable cell phone/PDA combo that's in circulation on the net via manufacturer Amycall. It's been dubbed the PS3, and apparently carries a control set reminiscent of the Sony PSP. It also runs on what appears to be Microsoft Windows Mobile, and based on the pics, is capable of running Nintendo NES and SNES titles.
There you have it - all three next gen console manufacturers crammed into one convenient package that's apparently been manufactured in Korea. Or "Koera", as was printed on the cell phone's barcode. We speculate otherwise, given the Chinese text on display.
It appears that the PMP K35 has met its match. You can check out more images of the PS3 phone via the source link below.

Although Amy is a sweet girl and I would love to speak with her again when she gets her life together, I believe the company referred to in the article is actually Anycall.
who's amy?
Its suppose to be AmyColl.. check the link.
Some time ago, when IBM had just released the technical details of the cell processor, they and sony had idea's of using the flex io technology, rambus added to the cell. The flex io tech. can in theory, enable a cell processor to effectively link with other cell processors and increase it's processing capabilities. They were talking about having these cell cpu's in almost every home based peripheral, it's seems it has started with a cell phone and may go on with a toshiba made laptop with a cell based gpu, and so on. I think that was Sony's main reasoning for a 10 year lifespan for their PS3, who knows?
I...um..misread the above article..um, ignore what I said, just ranting rubbish again. Apologies to all readers.
