The eye toy was on PS2, the Ps3 has the PS eye.. its a FULL HD camera that captures video at a MASSIVE 120 FRAMES per second! Needless to say that is MAJORLY and totaly different from the Eye toy.

mmm I might be an asshole, but...
The PlayStation Eye is capable of capturing standard video with frame rates of 60 hertz at a 640x480 pixel resolution, and 120 hertz at 320x240 pixels,

Since when is the PS Eye an HD camera? Not even close buddy.

But it is a major jump up from the EyeToy.

It's not the EyeToy but the PSEye you need, PSEye is way advanced than the EyeToy and unlike the first named it can be used to other stuff on the PS3

The design for the controller is hideous. Hopefully that's just a demonstration controller...

Yeah....
I'm planning taking it with me when I go to work and also putting in on the center table in the living room when I get visitors so I hope the final design looks better...it's really important...don't care if it's responsive or HW is topnotch as the PS3s, or if it has rechargable batteries or 1st party support...the important is that it looks good...yeah...
