MotorStorm's Eliminator mode gameplay video

Many MotorStorm enthusiasts have been waiting for the upcoming downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 title. This new video features the new online mode called "Eliminator".

Evolution Studios' Jed Ashforth gives some insight in the Eliminator online multiplayer mode in the game. It's pretty much like a knockout mode where players in last place after a certain period of time gets automatically booted off a race. According to Ashforth, the mode is currently a work in progress as they are still "tweaking" it. Imagine just how you'll get rattled when you get the "You are in the last position!" message on your screen.

Hopefully, the downloadable content will be available in the next couple of months. So in the meantime, check out this MotorStorm video and see if you like it.

Would this be enough to make a good game of this title? This racer has such poor gameplay, its like racing the same thing over and over. It reminds me of that old N64 title, Hot Wheels Turbo racing, but not even close to as good. And no I am not a fanboy, I have given this game a considerable amount of play time and I just don't see why people enjoyed it. Probably being one of the few PS3 exclusives.

It's just a fun game. The tracks are well designed and the advantages and disadvantages between the different vehicle types make it different to most driving games. The racing's fast, handling's good and try to not blow yourself up with the boost makes it really exciting.



Don't get me wrong, it's no Burnout or GT but it's about a 7/10.
