Still can't get enough of Evolution Studio's video game MotorStorm? Well, that's alright because we're all in the same boat with the rest of North America, Japan, and Europe. Why haven't you heard? MotorStorm just topped the official PlayStation 3 (PS3) charts in all three territories.Even Evolution Studios CEO Martin Kenwright is quite beside himself as he mentioned that this is amazing. He said that despite their reputation in providing quality racing titles in the past (five hugely successful Official World Rally Championship titles exclusively for PS2 mind you), the developers decided to come up with something extra special for Sony this time.
To see MotorStorm top the European, the Japanese and the U.S. PlayStation 3 charts is just fantastic. Developing MotorStorm to a standard we were all happy with was certainly a challenge – but the team here really delivered. We’re delighted that the public has agreed with the press and made MotorStorm a worldwide number one PlayStation 3 title.
We know we don't even have to discuss MotorStorm but for those who are not into racing games, it would probably be good to try this one out. The setting is off-road and is located in the hostile environment of Monument Valley. One unique feature of the game is the ever-changing course as vehicles deform the mud on the road every time they rev up their engines.
MotorStorm has been out for quite some time now, and we're currently waiting for its sequel, MotorStorm 2.

a game with No forced feedback and few levels and this is the number 1 selling PS3 game ? the other games must be lousy then..

qwe, maybe.. just maybe... the game is fun and people like to buy fun games?
so i guess a good game needs to have a thousand levels to be good. there may be only 8 levels but everytime you go to the same level twice it is always modeled differently such as being a different time of the day or may even have new objects in it. so although there are only 8 levels they are dynamic.
PS3 owners rejoice! You now have two games to play!

We got the best hardware in the world. You got crap. My Xblows 270 lasted a whole 6 months, before breaking! You can have stack of games to the ceiling, but if your hardware is always breaking whats the point?
You got nothing on the PS3 hardware, and you all know it. The PS3 is built for 10 years of life. Overheating problems? Nope. Noisey fans? Nope. Bricked consoles s/w updates? Nope. Consumers who have to trade in for repair multiple times? Nope. Just go to the Xblows 270 forums, there are a lot of pissed off people about broken hardware.
You still have NO built in wifi! No built in Hi Def drive! And you can't even use the add-on hd-dvd for games. LOL! Just what I want, a bunch extra crap laying around my entertainment system. And that HUGE brick Powersupply. Makes your room look like a trailer park, with crap laying everywhere.
Microcrap wants to give consumers a choice? HAHA! Here, Mr. Consumer, choose between a low price POS or a high price POS! That's your choice. Makes sense to me, perfect common sense.
Most "reviewers" give MS a low score because it is such "a blast and fun to play with" but it has very few levels. Look at GS review, "Motorstorm's rampageous brand of racing is a great deal of fun--it's just a pity there aren't more ways to experience it." and gave it 7.9 because MS has no more than 8 levels, please. I didnt see GS or other people crying about Gears being a short game. Give me a break. MS is an awesome game, is it short? maybe but it is FUN and infinitely replayable both offline and online and more content is on the way. So qwe you are talking nonsenses.

Just wait for Motorstorm 2. I'm sure they will have more content and a better game engine all around.
Playing Motorstorm online is a blast to play! I love when I force another racer off a cliff and hear him cussing in the background. Very fun!

I may not like the 360's hardware, but at least I can do something impressive and fun with it unlike the PS3. Motorstorm being the best selling game when it's obviously unfinished and rushed really says something about the game quality on the PS3. Microsoft fixed my XBOX 360 free but you don't hear me not complaining. Now they have the full one year warranty and even pay shipping both ways but I still have to find something to complain about because I hate Microsoft for some reason even I don't understand.

You still have to pay for built in wifi you may not need or want! No built in scaler chip! And you can't even use Linux for decent games, you need 3 PS3s! LOL!
