Motorstorm E3 First Person Video

Here's an incredible clip for the upcoming PS3 game Motorstorm. Details on the game have yet to surface but based on the title and the video, it's safe to say it will be a combat racing game. The graphics look incredible down to the last detail! Tire tracks, gunfire, and an awesome particle engine. This is definitely going to be a hit on PS3, and will hopefully make it to launch.

My favorite part? When the guy falls off his four-wheeler and the player purposely runs over him. Good stuff. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself! Thanks to sentence for the tip!

The FPS dint drop one bit. Get your eyes checked. When the car crashed it dropped in speed, not frame rate. Watch the video and its obvious that the frame rate didnt drop one bit, only the speed of the car did, and thats called physics. The Aegis PPU really shines in this game. All the bits and pieces flying really give this game an awsome look.

it was fun, but they weren't really mentioning graphics. As for the frame rate dropping, its not "final hardware", so they're not running "final code". Anyways I'm going to "keep an eye out" on this game just in case I don't sell my PS3 on e-bay and I'm picking out launch games.

game for PS3. Physics, AI, graphics, mud interaction are extremely cool.

I read this game was delayed until Q1/07, that will give time to developers to include all its content, optimize and polish it, remember this demo is roughly 50% of the final version. MotorStorm will be awesome. See you.

This game is Si Beef/Si Coc layage. I can't wait for the multiplayer, and I hope the netcode is decent.

The PS3 will utilize Ageia's software but not their PPU.

Also, Motorstorm looks f'n amazing! I don't mean just the graphics but all of teh realistic destruction, the speed ahh everything, it looks to be a hit. Lets hope the devs get it right and not turn out a sloppy, buggy mess.

There is no gunfire in the game

there are sparks from the car

the game looks and plays awesome

too bad this, heavenly sword, and F1 07 arent coming till early 07

and i think unreal is coming early 07

Was I the only one that saw how horrible the sparks were rendered? The graphics are great, but why can't they make the sparks look like sparks instead of red needles spewing out the back. This game looks super-boring. *snore*

I saw nothing here that dropped my jaw vs any racing game on the 360. test drive unlimited, PGR 3 look the same or better. So this is supposed to make me want to spend and extra 200$??

ok i have a 360 and every other console except gamecube. there is no way that looked better than PGR3. test drive doesnt look that good but this compared to PGR3? no way. PGR3 looks REAL. motorstorm doesnt look real but has good effects. i want to see GT5. i hope that blows my mind just as pgr3 did. but testdrive kinda blows. especialy the foliage. but i really dont see why people complain about graphics when after a while they will look the same. most games dont even scratch the surface of the 360. and when the FPS dropped in the motorstorm video, its most likely because of the coding. ps3 can handle it fine, just matters how its coded.

I dont think its fair comparing PGR3's final graphics in HD glory to this low resolution clip from a monitor and beta software. I feel this could look better when it comes out since they have all this time to refine it. Also, I watched it a few times looking for this infamous FPS drop and think people watch the actual vehicles speed instead of the surroudings...there was no complete slowdown indicating FPS drops.

Please never use this player again. This is annoying as hell. It just starts up out of nowhere and i hear that sound blasting. Use something like youtube where you have to hit play to start it. Thanks.
