MotorStorm 2 trailer, multiplayer details revealed |
Ó
According to an entry on the PlayStation Blog, MotorStorm 2 has been confirmed to have 16 new multi-route tracks and 4-player split-screen mode. Up to 16 players can also race head-to-head online. From all indications, this game is shaping up to be a worthy successor of the smash hit MotorStorm.
The new trailer video, on the other hand, shows off the new features in the game such as ATVs and a new lush tropical environment. It looks really awesome, but don't take our word for it. Check it out for yourself.

I just want to say... wow...
I got chills...
hot girl at the end got naaaiiiilllleee d
OK give me minute I am going to change my pants and be right back!
Back! Wow!!! Did i just wet my self? lol just kidding
If you remember back in 2005 with the first motorstorm trailer everybody criticised Evolution and Sony on claiming that the trailer would be the end code...They delivered at an amazing close end product and imagine that was a lunch title a first time deal on the ps3 for them. That's why i expect M2 to live up to this CGI teaser to its full extend no sweat! Just look at Gran turismo...
Seriously cant wait for this!!
Very awsome cant wait to get my ps3 after my pc/gateway lcd
A lot of us here at QJ.NET got pretty pumped after seeing the video. Anyway, got to go, we're playing MotorStorm right now.
lol, the same ending as the first video they made for motorstorm 1.
It's gonna blast to be in a cooler place! I'm tired of the sand... lol. I hope we'll see may more destructibles like the tower (there is a bridge and some others in the 1st game... not a lot of them) that fall on the others, that's really cool. Also, I hope they will fix the AI for single player, lol (TOO HARD at the end). I aslo hope they will make something for single player. I mean, in the 1st, the single player was cool, but lacked something... They could even add a small story, nothing big :D. Anyway, just being in the jungle will make me buy the game, that's for sure. I'm hoping for tons of races! Maybe 15-20 tracks? :D:D That would rock!

ATVs Were in the last game, the new addition was adding Monster trucks
Check out the trailer in a bigger screen and in HD! http://www.gametrailers.com/player/31751.html It's awesome!
the new one is the monster truck...
"if you remember back in 2005 with the first motorstorm trailer everybody criticised Evolution and Sony on claiming that the trailer would be the end code..."
nah, the criticisms was for sony and evolution presenting that trailer as if it was running in realtime on ps3 hardware, and the same thing with killzone 2 from the same show. no matter how many times sony and the devs were asked if the trailers were pre-rendered, they refused to confirm it.
And yet, lots of people believed those trailers were real time at e3 2005 (and 1000s argued online against anyone saying they were pre-rendered). these gamers were thinking "wow, if thats what they can do with unfinished software running on unfinished hardware, imagine what these games would be like when finished and running on final ps3 hardware. omg, the ps3 is going to blow the 360 away :-O".
now everyone acts as if they Always knew those e3 trailers were target renders, with no-one owning up to believing they were real (they keep quiet about that now :-D). not criticising them, but i wish people would be a bit more honest sometimes, same with sony and the devs about the e3 trailers. they were great trailers, but i don't see why they had a problem telling everyone they were target renders at the time, instead of allowing people to think they were real.
anyways, motorstorm's a cool game though, so the sequel should be great. if they get it right, it could become a top racing franchise.
OMG new pants please!
