Rock Band: Motley Crue's Saints of Los Angeles single being readied as DLC - Image 1Harmonix recently announced via the Rock Band official forums that they will be releasing Mötley Crüe's new single, “Saints of Los Angeles," sometime this week for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

What makes this news particularly interesting is that this will be the very first time that a band will be releasing a single through the game.

Chalk up the fact that the song's officially been out for just a few days, and this will certainly be one fresh number. The single is expected to be available on Xbox Live today (April 15), for a limited-time price of 80 Microsoft Points.

It will be available for purchase via the PlayStation Network on April 17, with pricing details to be announced. On a related note, the full Saints of Los Angeles album is currently expected to launch by June 8 this year. Drop by again in case we receive any more related updates regarding this matter.
