Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (PS3, Xbox 360) goes gold and it's Midway Games seems to be making good on its schedule for release. It looks like MK opened another portal in yet another realm - this time, they wind up face to face with the heroes and villains of DC.
With the Fatalities and violence toned down, the bloodthirsty warmongers of MK won't get to spill as much hero blood as MKfans would like, but the righteous heroes of DC would be glad to know they won't have to break their oaths of non-killing.
What I'd really want to see is Scorpion hooking and dragging Superman out of the sky, with his trademark, "Come here!" . Lex Luthor will also be in the game, but I really doubt his smarts will get through to the crazies from MK.
Loved MK, loved the DC Comics - it's a fantastic combination and I can't wait. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe hits stores in North America on the 16th of November, and throughout Europe on the 21st.
