Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe: gameplay clips, new details |

I'm having trouble coming to terms with why Midway Games chose to pit the characters of Mortal Kombat and the DC Universe. I'm a fan of cross-overs and all (Marvel vs Capcom was ace) but I'm going to need convincing on Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3).
This new vid can do for starters. Maybe it can even serve to convince some of you out there who share my thoughts. This video shows an interview with the people behind the game, and sheds some light on the game's development.
The vid hints on some aspects of the story, and some sort of multiplayer feature where we'll have more than two characters on screen. There are also different endings to the different modes. They also hint at how you can take down Superman without kryptonite.
Although we know only eight confirmed characters (Shang Tsung and Catwoman were the last two confirmed), they say that there will be at least 20 characters in the game, and they will be unveiling them at E3 and comic cons.

This will Be One Of the Best Fighting Games So Far.
If there Was Xbox characters vs. Playstation charaters that would be an Ultimate Fight.And im praying they have Fatalities in MC vs. DC.

There is just something not right about it. I'm not sure what, but it just doesn't work.
yeah its very odd to see mortal kombat fighting with super hero's
would be fun but it wont happen due to sells and COPYRIGHTS blah.
Anyways who would win if it did happen? Master Chief or Sold Snake?
watching this video.. I guess isn't a complete fail like I was thinking.. just that I will play DC vs DC character and MK vs MK characters not in between
it doesnt look as bad as I thought, I guess we have to give it a chance and see what the result will be. So far looks good, the only thing I dont agree is the free falling fight which I think is a failure but, the rest looks ok.
That would be a difficult fight. I suppose if Master Chief had his suit removed and Snake was not allowed to wear his Octo-Camo it might be a more fair match.
