Developer Just Add Water has a lot of Odd-ness in store for PS3 owners. Not only are they readying an HD remake of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, they also have more Oddworld games baking in their proverbial oven.
PS3 owners will first taste an HD remake of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Announced last year, this version of Stranger's Wrath is essentially the same as the original 2005 release for the Xbox but it'll be way prettier.
"All the normal maps and the PS3 rendering tech is being taken advantage of on all the characters and on the environments," says Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning, "so it’s been really cool to see how well that’s coming along."
"We never had it on [PS2], and the rendering capability of the PS3 speaks for itself, so if we can get the game experience on there, there’s nothing else like Stranger on Sony," he added.
