The Club - Image 1Developed by Bizarre Creations and published by SEGA, The Club, is a third person action shooter that is said to mix several elements of shooters with arcade accessibility.

The game is said to have the pace of a racing game and a story structure based on fighting games. Players will get to choose to from a selection of characters to fight in an underground bloodsport controlled by this shadowy entity known as The Club.

One of the more popular in-game storyline rumors about The Club's origins says that it can trace its history back to the infamous Hellfire Club of 18th century London. That rumor, however, is only one of many.

In the game's setting, any member of The Club can watch via satellite (or via secure internet sites) any "match" from any secure clubhouse dotted around the world.

The game is also set to offer multiplayer features; you can directly compete with opposition online or your can measure your score and times on online leader-boards.

The Club is set to be released for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. We'll keep you updated if any further gameplay details are made known.
