Famitsu once again gives us the latest update on Unknown Realms. Apparently, Unknown Realms is just a temporary name for Monster Kingdom. Dubbed as "the next generation of dark fantasy", this second PS3 title from Game Republic is successor to Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner, a PSP RPG released only in Japan.

Considering the nebulous stages that the game's development is going through, we're getting a good hint on the seven "worlds" that comprise this action/adventure game. Some of them are called Fairy World, War World, Sea World, Infinite World, and Hell World.

The storyline revolves around two characters, Ellen and Keats, who are destined to meet each other in order to investigate and solve mysterious occurrences. Ellen is a college student who finds a letter from her deceased mom, asking her to go to Remrick. Keats gets a mysterious phone call from a girl who dies in Remrick. He's a journalist writing occult articles in a magazine and has a supernatural ability to call out IDs (souls) of monsters and bring them into battle.

As always, we'll keep you updated on Unknown Realms, er, Monster Kingdom in the future.

Wow

The girl from gameplay one is such a rip off of Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken. She has really similar moves and even has the glowing wrist band to complete it.
