Modern Warfare 2's Spec Ops mode revealed |
We did it early on; thatÂ’s what Spec Ops started out as, as co-op through story. But it really broke the cinematic experience, took the immersion out of it, out of the story and the pacing and everything weÂ’d spent so long crafting. It just ruined the experience we were aiming for, so we took it out, kept the single-player for that one player intact and polished it.
But then there were moments that were really fun with two players, so we took those moments and put them in Spec Ops.
So you can play moments directly taken from the single-player, in Spec Ops, but itÂ’s polished towards those two players so the experience is pure. You really get the best of both worlds: you get the moments that were fun, but the moments that were shitty we took out.

Since I believe this mode does not include over 50% of the game, then one could make the assumption that the game is mostly *****ty?

anyway single player isnt what this games about!
alot of people hated campaign on 4 but i loved it
but it was probably my first real next gen game and thats why
anyway this game seems to be going down and down on my list
simply everything they have shown have complicated things way to much, deathstreaks and all that crap
the reason i liked 4 was, you pressed a button and you where chucked into a game, no select server crap
anyway im preparing for it, ive started playing old old ps2 games, again so the next game ill play is cod mw2, so i dont get my hopes up like the massive jump i had from ps2 to mw
How is this news or "revealed" we've known about spec ops only for forever now? I'm psyched for the game but Im getting sick of these stupid little nonsense bits of news about the same stuff over and over that IW keeps trying to remake as new every way they possibly can to keep attention.
