Modern Warfare 2's Ghost - Image 1

Pop quiz for all of you who already blazed through Modern Warfare 2's single-player campaign. You know who Ghost is? He's the guy with the badass skull mask, and word is he might be up for a game of his own.

During Modern Warfare 2's launch event in the UK, Ghost's voice actor, Craig Fairbass, mentioned this interesting little insight on what could come next for Infinity Ward and Activision's monster hit:

I did in the last game a voice for a character called Gaz and in this game IÂ’m now voicing a guy called Ghost, who now just got a spin-off comic of his own and theyÂ’re talking about another little game to go with it, so, IÂ’m quite excited about it. ItÂ’s grown and grown and grown.

Hopefully we find out soon whether or not all this talking "they" are doing amounts to anything. And here's another question for you: Will you prefer a full-fledged game starring Ghost or a downloadable add-on to the single-player campaign? Light up the comments with your thoughts.

Modern Warfare 2 is out now on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

» Eh...

DLC: We won't get enough of the story behind Ghost.

Own Game: I don't think I'll like it because it's not "Call of Duty." I see at as being a Splinter Cell spin off or something like that.

My Opinion: Well the 2 above, and they should stick to the Call of Duty series, which is war, not one-man-army games...

right from the quote it seems like it might be a dlc tiny mini game... not a huge COD game.

» Hmm....

I thought the Ghost guy was a bit wierd with no back story of him. Nice to see IW are making a storyline feel complete.

GOD of war demo is teh game of the year

GT 5 demo is the game of the year

games that developers take care of development and players ,

ive finished this game on my friend house in 3 hours , are you kiding me IW , ive enjoyed many 16 bits game more than this , and IW want 60$ lol ,

COD MW2 is far to be the game of the year , i give it , the DISAPOINTMENT OF THE YEAR . a game with no fan only ripped guys who comlpain after they buy it .

COD MW2 is a big marketing consperancy

lol yeah it does seem like alot of reviewers are being paid off these day's and the Game Of the Year awards usually biased because they only account for the reviewers opinions but at least it's better than people's vote because popularity always wins over substance... but still GO Uncharted GO Uncharted GO GO Uncharted :)

by victorinox - 2009-11-15 20:48
» eh...

the problem with reviews are they take into account what the demographic feels...

I was not one of those fans of uncharted, and I simply played Uncharted 2 to keep current so i can have an objective opinion since i keep giving things a change... and having talked to a lot of uncharted 1 fans most of them thought the reviews were spot on, where as i felt it was lack luster and boring *ok story though*

now lets look at demons souls, a lot of reviewers said it was hard, and loads of people never completed it and thought the game was bad as **** and kept saying how bad it was because they couldnt beat it/enjoy it +\

many things keep down this line, now with the ammount of people buying MW 2, and the ammount of hype it was bound to disapoint, and a lot of times reviewers dont experence server lag *due to too many connections* and or go with the tide, if idk IGN said

"Modern Warfare 2, is ok but could have been a LOT better 6/10" a lot of people would boycott it +\ and complain...

the fact of the matter is... just because someone is a professional reviewer, doesnt mean they speak for everyone, they just speak from their point of view, under the context of the usual player of whatever game +\

so yeah...

» SPOILER!!!

So if they did make a game, or DLC (i would just prefer a DLC) would they make his story like a past story?Because didnt he get shot and killed (along with whoever you were playing) by that ***** General Shepard?I kinda felt bummed out that he got shot(along with me) he was bad @$5!Anyways, i just see this as a past story and would much prefer it as a DLC!
