Following the footsteps of teammate David Ortiz comes Dustin Pedroia to grace the cover of MLB 09 The Show from Sony Computer Entertainment. Hopefully, this franchise does not bear with it an evil, career-ruining curse like the Madden Curse.If you're tired of the Red Sox, cut Pedroia a little slack. He's the 8th player in Red Sox history to win the MVP honor, Gold Glove, and Silver Slugger award in the same season. Just last December, he announced that he'll be playing for Team USA in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
Well if you really hate the Sox, you can just record your voice through the game's trashtalk feature and cuss the living daylights out of him.

Wasnt the cover boy Ryan Howard last year? Didnt the Phillies win the world series Last Year. This is the exact opposite of the madden curse.
Yeah funny that. Obviously there is no curse associated with The Show
I personally don't think there is any Madden curse either, no such thing as curses, but that whole deal is a bit strange
