You might not believe it, but that spotless, gleaming city that we see in the trailers is the image of a dystopian world, held by fear and ruled by a totalitarian government. In fact, it was this government that caused the death of Faith's mother.
Since communication is heavily monitored by the government, runners eventually came to be. Their job is to deliver messages under the government's collective noses, braving the rooftops of the city. Find out why she chose this life in the game's new story trailer below:

Impressive. Seriously, every Mirror's Edge video I see just makes me want the damn game even more. Story looks to be *****ing immense, I must pre-order soon.
