A timely announcement for Mirror's Edge: the game has finally gone gold for tthe PS3 and Xbox 360. Both versions are getting a retail release on November 13. With the game going gold, the only thing that stands between you and an on-schedule copy is the supply chain. Let's hope your local retailer has their systems in check.

In the same press release, Electronic Arts also mentioned that gamers in the UK who pre-order a copy of the game get some freebies. Those who place their pre-orders with Play.com get an unlock code for a Time Trial mode, while those who get theirs from GAME will get a Mirror's Edge shirt.

» BB has best pre-order gift

If you ask me, Best Buy in the US has the best pre-order freebie for this: the CD containing the theme song and an extended remix of the track. ...Matter-of-fact, after having played the PS3 demo last week, I'm seriously thinking about considering that CD a 'purchase' for $5 and forgetting about picking-up the game.

Am I the only one who felt the demo didn't live up to the hype? The controls were really over-complicated, IMHO.

» Hmmm..

To be honest....I thought the controls were pretty complicated as well....but I think that makes the game all that more interesting....

If it had the same old boring controls that most FP games have...then I'd be pretty annoyed...

I preordered mine from Game....free t-shirt! woooo!
