Mirror's Edge DC gets delayed, free PS3-exclusive map still good for the 29th

Electronic Arts has confirmed, the release for their latest DLC for Mirror's Edge (PS3, Xbox 360) got delayed. We'll have to wait a bit more for the Pure Time Trial Map Pack, which adds seven maps and nine races to the game. Developers at DICE say that they needed a little more time to give the game "a completely smooth experience, hence the delay.

The original announcement was that it was slated for a January 29 release for US$ 10. Now, it has been pushed to February, with no specific date so far. Good news for PS3 owners though, the free PS3-exclusive map, "Synethesia" is still coming January 29th.

It's nice to hear at least some company (ahem, NOT CAPCOM) care about the PS3 and dont do crap like release the RE demo exclusive to *****Cox Wive for a week.
