Oh please no, this game is done and been done if the game was a character Mortal Kombat "FINISH HIM" would be booming out at his swaying body.
Besides the fact that that sentence made no sense at all, and MK pwns you, this is very, very old news.
Honestly, ever since Armageddon, i've seriously lost respect for Ed Boon and Midway. They dont care about the games there creating nor the only fans of MK they had left. Deception had sooo much potential. I actually thought Midway was heading in the right direction. I loved the Story, Konquest Mode was amazing (It was always soo mysterious, you didn't know what to expect. It made the game more fun. At least until i got Liu Kang's alternate costume. :P), Thanks god more Fatalities. (Just wish Scorpion had his signature Fatality.), and Hari Kiris. The gameplay was pretty fluent too (Not to complicatied as Deadly Alliance, and not too easy like MK 1 (BTW the old school MK games before 4 pwnd anyway :D)). Then when Armageddon came out, not only is every character broken; but, the Story was gone, Konquest Mode was now a button masher instead of a new and exciting adventure mode, hell, the gameplay felt like you were playing a turd polished version of MK4. And dont get me start with the repeatative Fatalities. :p Not only that, you mostly hear drama in the games feature and online how, "O, we would have done this, but we didnt have time", "We would have given Motaro both legs, but the coding was too complex", etc. etc. Can you say LAZY ?! What the hell were they doing for the 2 year development ?! And for this to be the last game with eveyone in it, this is how you go out with a bang ?! Its a shame !! I felt like i paid $50 bucks for someone to kick me in the nuts and run away. Midway should have delayed the game till they knew how to take advantage of the next gen systems (especially in terms of memory and processing, A working Shang Tsung or Shinok anyone ?). With all that said, being that a huge majority of the old characters and storys are gone, and juding from the gameplay and development for Armageddon im seriously expecting this game to fail misrably. Ok, my rant is over. :p
