Pretty good stuff despite a bit of fuzziness, eh? But more than the graphics, what's more exciting about Unreal Tournament 3 is its promise of a single-player campaign far richer than those of its predecessors. Talk of a story-driven campaign where the personality of team members is reflected has drawn up some pretty dynamic images, especially coming from a franchise which was once solidly grounded strongly on multiplayer mayhem.
A demo of the PC version is scheduled to be released before the game ships on November for Windows and the Sony PlayStation 3. The Microsoft Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 will launch early in 2008. We'll keep you posted for more development.

I got this trailer on my PS3 about 2 months ago. Old.
i'm only going to get one shooter game for late this year, choosing among Haze, UT3, and COD4... just one cause it's not my genre of preference and i'll be playing Heavenly, Assassins, Rachet, Drakes, and NBA2K8...
still undecided though... i wonder which one among the three will offer a better online experience? Haze seems to have some innovative stuff going on but COD4 is likely to have a bigger community and UT3 has mods.
Unreal Tournament has had one of the largest communities of any game in the history of mankind, and thousands of people still play the original UT from 1999. Also, UT3, is really innovated compared to 95% of other shooters, thanks to its ultra fast paced in you face gameplay. And yes UT3 has mods. I really wish Epic would advertise UT3 like they did Gears, because it knocks out all other competition, yes I am talking to you Halo 3.
and the previews i've read so far are impressive...
i just might opt for this game and probably just get another shooter early 2008 while waiting for the PS3 big guns for that year, maybe COD4... Haze with its Nectar sounds a little bit gimmicky.

Yes...Unreal is one of the biggest in FPS history. Next to Counter Strike, and Quake.
This game is terrible online its boring plain and simple, I have it on the PC and it never has and never will be anything special, and as for it being better online than Counter strike,team fortress and Halo. NO WAY......
Halo can suck on my UT plasma weapon.
Ok, UT is nowhere near CounterStrike or Quake....Nowhere near. Counter Strike is the most popular FPS game ever made period, there is no comparison. I did like UT, but i didnt like it because of its unrealistic shooting. I like realistic shooters, with real guns and w/ real damage...not 10 rockets to kill someone...its not made to be realistic thats why its called UNREAL but oh well. I like halo i never had a problem w/ halo and after lookking at halo3 its really cool looking so i cant talk smack about it. However, im not impressed w/ them making clone of a halo2...the gfx r only a bit better....but halo3 is not next gen material i can say that safely. Killzone2 is true next gen FPS .....but Crysis is even better! I woulnt buy this game, i can see myself having REAL fun w/ COD4 or something but this to me.. will be a good rental.
