"MGS4 in March 2008" rumor looking more "solid" |

According to a financial report filed by Konami, their special-ops title will be headed out onto the market before the end of their current fiscal year. Now just so you know, their fiscal year ends March 31, 2008...Put two and two together and you get an assumption that they're planning to release MGS4 sometime in March - or earlier, if you wanna push it. Fact is, they're pretty consigned in including MGS4 in their financial projections within their fiscal year.
Judging from that, could this be more or less a solid confirmation of its release? From where the market stands, this financial report, plus the Gamestop email, looks more than just plain coincidence.

taking time with the development of games to make sure it comes out in it's best form...
i'm also someone who doesn't have any problems waiting for games to come out... i ain't impatient like some people "WHERE ARE THE FU*CKING GAMES!!! fFU*CK YOU SONY" type of guys...
it's just that Sony needs this game to come out this year... people who don't keep updated with recent going ons in the industry probably wouldn't even know of Heavenly Sword or Lair... but Metal Gear is a whole different animal...
Sony needs this game in 2007.

the waiting is killing me,yes I thought I will play MGS4 this year but next March?!
I also thought that I will play DMC4 this November then again:U have to wait for Q1 of 2008.
4 me that is just to long.
And SH5 or RE5 oooohhhh...
Those are the only and most wanted games 4 me and I`m just sad that none of them I wont play this year:-(
next year? that sucks, no, it really sucks. what next? Lair, GTA4 will be out next year? then GT5 and FFXIII have been canceled?
i've purchased the PS3 much to early, thanks to all the hype. but the what i'm really looking forward to is Crysis for pc. Crysis will keep me ocupied until my PS3 is ready to be turned on again.

the article only states they are going to have it out before March 31 2008, which means any time between then and now
i admit.....i brought PS3 WAY TOO EARLY.........payin full price for nothing!
***** games so far i always turn on my PS3 wonderin wot 2 waste my time on..Resistance is gd Multiplayer at least.
But early adopters should feel as if they are cared 4, perhaps putting more stuff is PS Store i.e. more demos FFS (UK)!!!!!!!
doesn't need mgs4, ps3 needs socom 4. thats the bottom line
hey man take it a bit easy, We'll get some game released this June. Euro store is indeed *****ed up, but we'll be able to download PS1 classics during the next few weeks.

i would like for METAL gear solid : 4 to come out sooner..but i can wait..also there are going to be other great games for the playstation 3 that is being released in 2007. uncharted :drakes fortune, White Knight Story,lair,LITT LE BIG PLANET,warhawk, GTA:IV,HAZE,Tal isman,HEAVENLY SWORD. + more games..and since there are also new released playstation 2 games that will also be playable on the playstation 3 with better visuals.....its not that the playstation 3 will not have good games out this year its just the games are not out right now... late summer and Fall will get here soon enough
I am enjoying my PS3 just fine right now with the games it has. It definatley has more games than the Wii. Still don't see why that thing sells. But thats for another day. I agree MGS needs to come out sooner than later, but this gives us a chance to try games we normally would never even look at. For me this is Folklore. I am blown away by this game and only found it because of the drought of PS3 games. I will be imported the Japanese version because it has English Dubbing. I suggest you check it out also while we wait for MGS.
socom is overrated, the game sucks
that is a very good point.
alot of the games like The Darkness, LAIR, HAZE, Turok.etc. would not even be looked at as potential buys if not for the real game monsters not being released yet
It can always be used! Get a netflix account. BD is an awesome movie format. You can use your PS3 if you really want to.
