MGS4 PS3 Gun Metal Gray - Image 1It seems that getting one of those Gun Metal Gray Sony PlayStation 3s will be harder than expected. Not only does this bundle containing  Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots come in very limited quantities, you'll need to do a few other chores as well.

For starters, the Metal Gear Solid 4 Limited Edition Gun Metal Gray bundle will only be available via online pre-orders on the official Konami site. This means you'll have to go through a lengthy registration process before you can even have a chance to avail of the package.

To better understand what the big deal about this particular bundle is, here are its contents:
  • Gun Metal Gray PS3 with a 40GB Hard drive.
  • A DualShock 3 wireless controller
    • Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition
  • Exclusive Blu-ray disc including over 2 hours of additional content - "Hideo Kojima's Gene", a behind-the-scenes vision of Hideo Kojima's production team & game and "The Making of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" documentary
  • The official Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots CD Soundtrack, including 16 never-before-released tracks by Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, Armageddon, The Rock), Nobuko Toda, and Ennio Morricone.
All of this comes at the special price of US$ 599. Start clicking away at the Konami site if you want in on this. For some MGS fanatics, this one just might be worth more than its price tag.

Aww man. This makes the pre-orders unnecessary hard.

» Not sure

Konami didn't mention anything about BC, but my guess is that since it's 40GB, it should be able to play ps1 games, but i doubt it can run ps2 titles.

Of coourse, I could be wrong. We'll dig into that one.
