One of the new things Hideo Kojima has revealed about Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the fact that you have to face terrible foes who are utterly monstrous in their appearance. The Beauty and the Beast Unit wasn't always that way though, and Kojima himself has stepped up to present the members of the unit for who they really are: victims of war themselves.

That's right: Kojima was at the Leipzig Games Convention talking all about the different members of the Beauty and the Beast Unit. As he mentions in the video, the members of the unit were once beautiful women in their own right, but now happen to be "the ultimate casualties of war."

We probably have you excited now, don't we? Well, besides hearing Hideo Kojima talk in English, you'll also be able to see each of the individual members of the unit through the artwork, from the winged Laughing Raven to the creepy Screaming Mantis.
