New colors! - Image 1About two months ago, we got our first look at new colors for the DualShock 3, "Metallic Blue" and "Deep Red." Since it's TGS, it's announcement time. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan made the confirmation, and these two shiny new controllers will be adding some more personality to the PS3's controller collection.

Unlike the three other colors, Black, Ceramic White, and Satin Silver, there isn't a Metallic Blue or a Deep Red PS3. The two new colors will be staying with controllers, at least for now.

They hit store shelves on October 29th in Japan with a ¥ 5,500 price tag (about US$ 60), inclusive of tax.

I'm in Canada and I quite literally saw these two controllers in our local "Loblaws Super Store" flyer as sale items... Today! Did our little grocery chain get the goods before the Japanese did? lmao. :S

I really don't know why I even bother coming back to this site. Occasionally you'll get some news before others, but most the time it's just mis-reported drivel.

These controllers have been out for weeks, if not months, in the states.

You're not the only one. I saw it at Gamedude 2 days ago. I didn't even know they aren't out yet.

nobody forces to come here, so if you don't have anything worthwhile to say, piss off.
