Metal Gear Solid 4 street date broken in Europe

Everyone knows that Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is supposed to come out on June 12. However, it looks like some people couldn't wait that long. The street date for the game has already been broken in the U.K.

It seems that PlayStation forum member, Paul-H-UK, was able to get his hands on a copy of the game and release some images of the game's box, manual, and more.

We're not going to keep you any longer. Here are the images he posted on the forums, what do you guys think?

*Update* Eagle-eyed QJ.NET reader firebird noticed that the game did not come from Europe as originally reported but from Australia as indicated by the rating sticker on the front of the video game case.

Hey guys, WTF is with the box art? wasn't it supposed to be one of two of the other box arts? I got the limited Ed pre ordered and I was kinda hoping for the other boxart, Ive seen this boxart as a mock up in JB HI-FI but I didt think it was gonna be official??? wtf?

None of yours come close to comparing to that :P (I know, that's not what the majority are like, but we do have a few awesome ones :P)



And like firebird said, those aren't our stickers. Our stickers are the same size as yours, except they actually make sense! They give an age, not some stupid thing like "Teen". What's that supposed to mean? You're a teen for 7 years!



And "Mature"? I know 13 year olds who are mature. I know 24 year olds that sound exactly like you. They wouldn't let the 13 year old have it though.

well it looks like the standard edition, I too like this standard edition more then the other one that was shown, but I like the limited Ed more cause the art work is nicer, this one dosent look as good as his other art works, looks a little cartoony imo..
