Mercenaries 2: World in Flames U.S. release date, trailer revealed

Electronic Arts and Pandemic Studios' Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, and PC) has finally been dated for release in North America. Those anxiously awaiting this game will be pleased to know that it should be available by August 31, 2008.

To celebrate this announcement, the developers have released a trailer which should give gamers a general idea of the video game's story. We're not going to throw out a lot of spoilers but we just have to say that someone gets shot in the rear. Awesome!

John Abruzzi

The main character sounds like John Abruzzi from Prison Break, played by Peter Stormare. Anyone???

Correct Steve, it is Peter Stormare, he was the voice in the first one too :) I can't wait for this game, it should be a blast
