Mass Effect 3 multiplatform release will be simultaneous

Ó

Since Mass Effect 2 is already on its way to the PS3, there's no reason to believe that the next game wouldn't follow. Still, nothing beats a good confirmation. So here you go - Mass Effect 3 will also be available to PlayStation gamers.

So it's really console-exclusive no more, and BioWare promises that the game will be released simultaneously across the Xbox 360, PC, and the PS3 during the holidays of 2011. None of that timed-exclusivity business. Both EA and BioWare haven't spilled much else, other than "[BioWare] can't wait to show you what the team is doing to make Mass Effect 3 an even bigger success."

With Mass Effect 2 coming January to the PS3, the user base will have two Mass Effect games to play in the same year. Several months should be enough to get you well-acquainted with the universe and play through the game, so you could get cracking on the third once it launches. That is, unless you're this crazy.

Though it's really pessimistic (or is it just realistic?), but I can't help but wait for the "need to polish the pc version" delay bullshit to happen.

I really hope it doesn't, but let's just say I'll be expecting it and will be pleasantly surprised if it doesn't happen.

this is the game i regretted missing out on when my 360 RRoD'd, then i played a part of ME2 at school and thought it was awesome, now ill get to buy 2 and 3 on my ps3 YAY :). Its a good thing they added the ME1 interactive comic into part 2 so you can still make all the major decisions that influence how you play 2.

I'll need to play ME1 to fully understand the game cause the demo of ME2 is just killing robots/monsters.
