Seems like the folks at Capcom have finally gotten tired of being pestered for a specific launch date for Marvel vs Capcom 2. Thing is, they've only managed to pin down a date for the game's XBLA version. The PSN launch date is apparently going to be "announced soon". Here's the announcement from the Capcom Twitter account:

Bleh. All that Strider pic does is make me want a new Strider instead of crap like this and Bionic Commado. Strider 2 wasn't exactly great either. Though the arcade game Osman made by the same creator or something actually was very good. Shame it's owned by a different company so is hard to get other than to emulate the arcade rom. A brand new downloadable Strider that plays more like the first game than the second would be nice though I've just not been impressed with Capcom's downloadables. Sure I liked the NESness of Mega Man 9 but it certainly wasn't even remotely as fun and playable as Mega Man 2 on the real NES.
