I found three places worth noting while playing with the map. The area in the Middle East makes the hover glow orange, clicking on which will flash some symbol, then if you click again, you get what appeared to be a flash of the scene. Don't blink, you'll miss it. Same goes for South America, which glows a faint blue, and the Western part of North America which gives a greenish glow (I know, my Geo sucks).
