There's only a little over a month left until Madden NFL 10 officially hits retail, and so EA Sports is letting series fans have a taste of the latest Madden title by way of -- what else? -- a downloadable demo.

First, note that there will be two separate demos for the game. The public demo will be available to the general gaming public on July 30 on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. This demo will feature a night game in heavy snow with the Dallas Cowboys squaring off against the New York Giants.

Those who shelled out money and pre-ordered the game from GameStop, however, will be treated to an exclusive demo featuring a Super Bowl XLIII rematch between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals with 5 minute quarters. They'll get it earlier too -- on July 23.

Madden NFL 10 comes out on August 14. The game will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PC, and PS2.

» Knowing leaks for Xbox 360

people with modified 360 will probably get the full game before any of the demos arrive. Another thing many people might not have known. Is if you can find a link to a demo on the internet which contains the demo file and download it and put it on a CD or DVD(no RW because of slow read speed) you can play the demo even without a modified 360. So if you can find the exclusive demo for download on the interweb you can play it without pre ordering but it will cost you a DVD or CD.

To learn how to burn a demo to your disc look it up on Google. It requires special folder names and such though the folders are usually included with the demo download. Last time I did this was for the Japanese demo of Resident Evil so I don't remember but once you put the disc in it should be in the demo category of the NXE.
