Mad Catz to make instruments and more for Rock Band |
Ó
Long-time game accessory manufacturer Mad Catz has put out a press release announcing that it has scored a deal with MTV Games. Under the agreement, Mad Catz will produce instruments for Harmonix' critically-acclaimed music and rhythm title Rock Band (Sony PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360).Mad Catz says it's going to fashion stylish wired and wireless bass guitars, wired and wireless microphones, drums, and authentic professional drum sticks. Particularly interesting was the statement where the press release mentioned "other products" also in the lineup. No specifics were given to hint at what those will be.
Mad Catz made a name for itself with its high-quality steering wheels from more than a decade ago. Its peripheral portfolio remained strong through the console generations, and the brand is among the industry's most trusted to date.
