Locust- and Chimera-free: Frontlines: Fuel of War screens move in |
Ó
We thought it was left in the dust and all. But guess what decided, after quite some time of dead silence, to surface once again? Frontlines: Fuel of War (PS3, 360, and PC) is still very much alive, and we're thinking just one word: Shellshock. That's pertaining to the effect of what these new screen could do.
Now before we reveal the screens, time for a bit of a refresher course. What we do know about this new THQ game is that it's slated for a release later this year. It's using the Unreal Engine 3 (oh joy!) and will have you pitted in the middle of vicious global warfare over oil. The story is set some 20-odd years into the future, when the Western Coalition (U.S./NATO) wages a battle with the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China).
There are no Locust hordes nor Chimera threats here, but still, set in the future, it's very much a sci-fi game in essence. Check out all the technology and hi-tech military weapons. Look at the pictures... There's a mini-helicopter drone there! Nice...
