Eidos president Ian Livingstone was the one who broke news of a new Hitman game from IO Interactive a few months back, and now he has reiterated that the Hitman franchise is sitting squarely in IO's corner.

"This is the first IÂ’ve heard about it," he told Prey's World Magazine. "Hitman always has been and always will be IO InteractiveÂ’s baby, which it still continues to be so. Rocksteady are not involved with the development of Hitman 5."

This follows a report pegging Rocksteady as the developer for Hitman 5 thanks to an entry in the online resume of actor Mark Sloan, one of the game's mo-cap actors.

Nice, I was afraid the next one would not be as good as Blood money if developed by another company.
