LittleBigPlanet to import images by Christmas - Image 1Frustrated that the PlayStation Eye just can't keep up with your creativity in LittleBigPlanet? Don't worry your little sackboy head.

Media Molecule has announced that they'll be releasing a patch that will allow you to import images. Expect the patch to be available before Christmas.

No news on how image importing will work exactly, but USB drives and memory sticks will most likely be part of the process.

So why didn't they put it in the game to begin with, you ask. Because if they did, the game wouldn't have been released until much, much later. So thank your lucky sticker stars that you got the game earlier than the feature.

This is awesome. I've been waiting for this. It should make my level design quality skyrocket. :)

» Awesome!

I'm broke and now I don't have to get the PS eye to make the levels that I want to! Awesome! I doubt they will, but I hope they enable you to import audio files sometime, even if the file size limit is small.

thats a nice idea, i wish they could also include the feature to import your own music, so that we could make the game feel more intense, well it depends on what level you are making. that would really make a lot of creators so happy.

i wonder what image files would they support. i wish PNG is supported.
