No, I didn't mean the PSP version. It's really for the PS3 version. Some of you might be wondering why Media Molecule will release a demo for LittleBigPlanet now when it's been out for so long. Thing is, not many people have tried it out for themselves since not many people had PS3s. That's just changed now, thanks to the price cut and the new PS3 Slim.

The demo is reported to come in at 917MB, and is said to feature some selected levels from the game itself, as well as community database. There are also some level creation tools made available for new players to test out.

For now, it is available on the Japanese PSN, but it is expected that other regional stores will get it later today. If you're a new PS3 (Slim) owner (congratulations!), here's your chance to get in on the Sackfolks bandwagon that everyone's been raving about the past year.

I bought Little Big Planet soon after it came out and tried playing it different times but I can't get into it. The object of the game is just too basic and boring. The graphic style is lame and during the tutorial, the voice is aggravating. I have yet to play it since.

» Danny sucks

It is a very, very casual game.

I'm sure many people take pride in making levels, but unless you have a solid group of people to play it with...it is going to be super boring....even finding random parties where people don't talk at all.

I'm glad I rented it first.

You make it sound like it's about 10 people or something. Anyways good to see a demo of it to entice even more players. It's still easily one of the very best games of this or any other generation of consoles and one of two games that I don't mind voice chat on (I find it oddly mesmorising seeing the other players Sackpeoples mouths move when they talk). Screw all those constant boring FPS games, I wanna see more stuff like this on PS3.

» *sigh* GUNBEHINDTHESUN...

You're not giving a review of the GAME, you're just letting all know you don't like the type. It's a platformer game that's unique as you can create your own levels...

Don't be a fool + leave comments like this. It's like I'm not into football games! But, I don't click a link about Madden 2009 + say "I rented this + it was boring..." just because I don't like that type of game!
