LittleBigPlanet beta intro video makes big, big splash

They're here, and they're here to stay. It's cuteness all around in this Beta intro video for Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet and we're glad to say that from the looks of it, all the hype surrounding the title is no mere fluff. The 3D game is looking really impressive, and definitely makes us want to get our hands on them cute sackpersons. Like, right now.

What you'll see in this short video walkthrough are the various basic controls that you'll be using to navigate in the little big world of LBP. Apart from that, there's also a quick tutorial on the Popits, and the customizations. Anyway, we could go on and on gushing about the lovable Sackboy in the video, but we're thinking you'd rather see it for yourself.

Oh, and another good news, Eurogamer has got 5,800 beta keys for LBP (lucky them!) and if you're just as fortunate to get one, you can go straight to the PSN and start downloading the beta! You can bet their server's about to crash now, though, with everyone wanting to get an exclusive look into the sackworld.

And if you want a longer video of the beta, Videogaming 247's managed to capture the first 14 minutes of the game, featuring the intro, the tutorial and the first level. You can check it out by heading to the source link below.

I agree... how is this going to be a defining game? If so, the PS3 is in for some troubling times ahead.

This video isn't impressive at all... just boring.

The announcer, however, reminds me of Jeremy Clarkson... that's cool.

You obviously didn't read the actual article.

"The 3D game is looking really impressive..."

What I was saying was that if QJ were basing that opinion on the video, then I feel that they're mistaken.

How can you fail to see that?

I looked him up... I didn't recognize the voice because I've never seen anything he's done before.

His voice just kind of reminded me of Jeremy Clarkson.
