How did you like the LittleBigPlanet 2 trailer released yesterday? Excited for it yet? Well, while there's still quite a long way to go before we get it in our hands, why don't we enjoy another trailer of the cute Sack people, this time as featured on QORE.

I always put off making levels, but I tried one time and then realised I didn't even have an idea for a level hah. I wasn't really a big fan of Platform games though so *shrug*.

I do have a bunch of ideas about random stuff and would like to try them out, but I'm not a "read the manual" type of guy, so more noob help with level designs would be a good idea to give us rofl :) maybe presets so I can be lazy?

This will be the game that keeps on giving. I just hope they let us continue to use the 50 layer glitch to make our levels really 3d. (but I doubt it)

Im hoping they make it an "official" tool.

I'm also wondering what will happen to our current DLC, will LPB2 contain DLC from the first game (like the GOTY one did) or will we still have to separately pay for it... and if so can I use my current DLC (the water one) with LBP2?

and are the story levels from the first game there if you had played them and then gone into LBP2?

so many questions...

I think that the features on lbp are very powerful but very few people know how to get the max out of them, why? because the turorials are very basic and don't give us the full scopes of what these feature can do. Also you have to blindly play with some settings to see what they can do. A more user friendly interface and better tutorials can eliminate a lot of frustration out of potential level designers. Also a tutorial where the game teaches you how to make a level from scratch would be excellent, because working with a "clean slate" can be daunting for a new player and using a template doesn't help the player to develop the skills to make original creations.

Also, this is a personal request, I want "tank threads" or at least to get an easy way to make those.

Can't they just make it so your saves work on lbp2? so all the stuff you had in the first one is just transfered to the 2nd.. isn't that what they meant by backward compatability? :/

It may be a possibility since there's so many good levels online. Let's hope so.
