LittleBigPlanet 2 gets Japanese boxart

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is now giving us a look at what LittleBigPlanet 2's boxart will be for Japan. While it does feature the same happy, grinnning Sackboy as in the US version, there are still some differences.

The Japanese boxarts somehow always turn out funkier (sometimes weirder) than its Western counterparts. This one features a seemingly Katamari Damaci'd globe, covered in pins and with a Sackboy wearing 3D glasses on top.

LittleBigPlanet 2 invades your PS3s next week: January 18 for the US, January 19 for EU, January 20 for Australia, and January 21 for UK. Japan will be getting it much later, probably on February 10, 2011. The date has yet to be confirmed.
