No need to wait till Monday to find out some more details about LittleBigPlanet 2. UK website News of the World apparently got their hands on Media Molecule's much-awaited sequel, and they've shared some very interesting information about the second coming of the cute Sack people. With awesome pictures to boot.

Media Molecule ups the notch further as LBP 2 allows you to not only create your own game levels, you're gonna be creating your own entire game! They've also incorporated a new streaming feature which allows you to keep in touch wiht your LBP earth even when you're away from your PS3. So for those of you having separation anxiety issues with your Sack people, you could rest easy now.

Even better, they've made all levels from the original game totally compatiblw with the sequel. They've even taken the time to re-master the graphics engine so everything looks spic-span brand new.

Another new addition to LBP2 would be the Sack Bots. If in the original title, there are no NPCs, now you have the Sack Bots. They're very much customizable and tweakable AIs. Apart from customizing your Sack Bots, you can also design your very own control mechanism.

So far these additions are definitely sounding great. But I suggest you check out these screenshots too so you can enjoy further your anticipation of LittleBigPlanet 2.

WOW. the guys at MM were not planning a sequel, but this shows they have a very powerful imagination and they actually listen to the LBP players.

Well they only decided to make a sequel because in March MM was acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment, so making a sequel would've been the next logical step. I'm glad MM is keeping close to their originsl word when they said all LBP content would be compatible with the next LBP title(being either a sequel or DLC add ons that overhaul the graphics or processes and adds new textures and features etc.)

The LBP2 screens look a lot nicer than I expected but I'm extremely interested in seeing the Command and Conquer clone one of the MM developers made.

They said all of the content from LBP 1 will work in LBP 2 including all costumes, levels, fan made stuff etc.

I'm so pumped. I thought I was over LBP... but man this stuff is so damn awesome!

How many people on here beat the whole game
LBP? It gets boring after a while, especially when trying to complete MGS4 + MGS1 and Ratchet and Clank TOD.

Feel free to add me as a friend.

8) please make it worth our time and effort Sony! :-* I would like to see more support for Custom Soundtracks as well as Cross Game Chat!

Custom soundtracks is already supported, it's up to the dev's to put it in their games. If they could do voice chat through the in-game xmb they would have already. The best you are going to get is the cross game text chat that is there now.
